Registration
The following event fees, waivers and maps only apply to the Edwardsville events. I currently do not offer online/pre-registration.
The following links are for your convience and will save you a little time on the morning of the event. Please see event information
for the Springfield, MO events and the Marion, IL events at their respective sites.
Exact change is appreciated.
Edwardsville Start: Registration, along with the ride start (unless otherwise noted) will be located at the Edwardsville County
Courthouse parking lot located at the intersection of West College Street and 2nd Street in Edwardsville, IL
for a Mapquest map of the area.
Waivers: All participants are required to fill out an event waiver for the distance they are entering. This form is
interactive. You can download the form, select your event date, type in your information then print the completed form. You can also just
download the form and manually fill out the form and bring it with you. Waivers are also available the day of the event during registration.
RUSA members need to indicate their RUSA member number. Don't know your RUSA member number?
Click here to go to RUSA's website and search by your name.
Waivers are in 'Print Document Format' also known as PDF. Your computer can probably open these files. However should you either not have
Adobe Acrobat or you need to upgrade your version to take advantage of the interactive form features, go to the
Adobe website and download the latest version of Adobe Reader.
Maps: The links to the maps above are only tentative and are subject to change up to the day of the event.
Changes in road conditions or last minute updates may make your downloaded map obsolete. I will post to my news/blog page any updates made to the maps
and will, of course post the updated map here if time permits. Check the 'Map Updated' column for latest version date. A final/official version will
be available during registration. Only the version handed out at registration is the final/official version.
The maps are in 'doc' format which can be opened in most versions of Microsoft Word. With file converts you may be able to open these files
in Word Perfect or Open Office. I currently do not offer maps in other formats.
Day of Event: Registration begins one hour prior to the event's official start time and closes 15 minutes prior to ride start time.
You will fill out or turn in a completed waiver form, and will receive your brevet card and map. No registrations will be taken once registration
has closed. About 15 minutes prior to event start there is an inspection of lights and reflective gear. Check the calendar of events page for
events that require lighting and reflective gear. If you fail inspection, you will not be permitted to start the event. About
five minutes prior to event start time, we meet to review the route, rules, checkpoints and answer any questions.
Finisher's Medal (for RUSA members only)
Any RUSA member that finishes an ACP brevet within the time limits, and rules can visit the
RUSA  Store and order a finisher's medal. After entering your RUSA Member number, you can select the qualifying events and add your medals to
a shopping cart. Currently there are no finishers medals for RUSA sanctioned events, just ACP events. Non-members are not able to purchase finisher's
medals at this time.
Ride Certification Numbers:
After each ride, I submit the results to RUSA, who then passes them on to ACP in France. Once the results have been certified, RUSA posts your
certification numbers on the RUSA results page. Just type in your name and your results will appear there. Once I receive the actual certificates,
I will attach them to your brevet card and return them at the end of the season. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
